After the great success of Halikut last year, Vaad Hatmimim has launched the successful program for its second year in 16 yeshivas across America. Halikut was launched through a video shown in the participating Yeshivas, with words of encouragement to participate by Reb Yoel Kahn, and by last year’s judges Rabbis Avrohom Gerlitzky and Leibel Schapiro, as well as by Mashpia Rabbi Leima Wilhelm, and Rabbi Shmuly Avtzon who directs Halikut’s tests.

Thursday: Strengthen Our Homes Event – A Tribute to the Rebbe’s Mother
A highly anticipated event is scheduled for this Thursday in Crown Heights. “Strengthen our Homes – A Tribute to the Rebbe’s Mother,” will mark the 55th Yartzeit of Rebbetzin Chana, with speaker Rabbi Shais Taub, and master Pianist Yaron Gershovsky.
