On a beautiful Tuesday evening, a record number of Bochurim from the local Yeshiva Gedolos gathered at the JCM for an incredible Volunteer Kickoff. The Friendship Circle gives these Bochurim an opportunity to befriend and visit children and young adults with special needs in the comfort of their own homes.
The “deadliest fires in California history” continued to spread in both Northern and Southern California over the weekend. To date, 25 have been reported killed in the blazes, and entire communities have been decimated as high winds continued to fan the flames throughout the day.

What was once an unused, invalid Torah scroll, dedicated to army veterans, is now fully-restored and being used at a Chabad center serving Jewish uniformed officers. Rather than sitting in disuse, an inspired rabbi from Flatbush found the perfect new home for this Torah just down the road.
Delegates from across the globe enjoyed the Chabad Partners Conference held in conjunction with the International Kinus Hashluchim. A day-long program was held on the Sunday of the Kinus, culminating with the Gala Banquet where they joined over 5400 other guests and Shluchim.
