When Ryan Dosetareh arrived at Georgia State University as a freshman in 2004 – primarily a commuter school for Atlanta-area students, many of GSU’s enrollees, like Dosetareh did, bunk at home with their parents – there wasn’t much going on in the way of on-campus Jewish organizations.

Sefer Torah Stolen from Monticello Chabad House

Monticello, NY [CHI] — Someone broke into the Landfield Avenue Synagogue, AKA Chabad of Monticello, NY, on Friday or Shabbos and stole the Sefer Torah. Rabbi Benzion Chanowitz and his congragation arrived at the shul on Shabbos morning, horrified to discover that the Shul was ransacked and the Sefer Torah was missing.
