Tonight: Gathering in Memory of Chanie Kolodney A”H

Tonight marks one year to the extremely tragic, painful and very untimely passing of Chanie Kolodney A”H. A gathering will take place in here memory where friends and classmates will participate, and members of the community are all invited to attend.

The event will take place in Bais Eliyahu Nochum Shul at 672 Lefferts Ave between Albany and Troy, and will begin at 7:30pm.

Landmark Funding’s Red Heifers Repeat as the CH Softball Champions!

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — The Landmark Funding Red Heifers of the Crown Heights Softball league make it 2 in a row as they win their second straight Championship this morning.

The Heifers played the Regency Cleaners Klappers who came in as heavy favorites. The game was a see saw battle into the last inning where the Heifers broke it up on a three run Home run by Dani Cole off pitcher Chezky Herz who started tiring, Presumably because of early Flight this morning from Chicago.

Fire in an Elevator Shaft – Building Evacuated

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] – At around 3:45 this afternoon residents of 675 Empire Boulevard were forced to evacuate the building due to a heavy smoke condition on all of the buildings six floors.

Systems exist all around us. The way we live; the way we do business. Each element of our lives from the mundane to the sublime — they always come down to some sort of system. We may not think of most of what takes place in our world as a “system” at work, but everything in our universe can be traced to the functions of one system or another.
