
Motorcycle Accident on Eastern Parkway
At around 5:55 this afternoon a group of motorcycle riders were seen driving together heading north on New York Ave.. According to eyewitnesses one of the bikers sped up, took a red light crossing Eastern parkway, and rode right under the front wheels of a truck in the service lane.
The biker was thrown up into the air, but was not seriously injured, though the bike was totaled. The truck sustained no damage, and the Jewish driver, who did not even see the biker, said he heard the roar of the bike and stopped only to notice he had the bike under his wheel.
The warm weather is known to bring out these gangs of bikers, some times as many a sixty in a pack, driving recklessly, looking for trouble, and the roaring noise as they drive past .
