Alternate Side Parking Rules NOT In Effect Today
In honor of Purim (Yeh Right!) the City of New York has suspended alternate side parking but meter’s remain in effect.
Fire in Kingston Ave Station
Early Friday morning there was a call to the Fire Department notifying them of a fire on the train tracks in the Kingston Ave. station in front of 770. All together there were 6 trucks responding to the call. However B”H there was no major damage, and the fire was put out immediately.

Crown Heights Shomrim get Another Shoplifter Arrested
At approx 2:15pm on Thursday Ta’anis Esther a SHOMRIM call came in with a report of a shoplifter stealing from Sunshine Pharmacy on Kingston Avenue Between Empire and Montgomery by the time Sunshine had put down the phone from the SHOMRIM dispatcher 2 members were already on the chase and within a 2 minute chase the suspect was on the floor where his pants and jacket were emptied of his 16 Head & Shoulders Toiletries freshly stolen from the Pharmacy the police responded within 5 minutes and cuffed the guy straight away we would like to take this opportunity to thank the members who assisted in the arrest and wish them good luck and a quiet purim.
