On each occasion, Shazar presented the Rebbe with a gift or a precious manuscript of Chassidic teachings, transcribed by previous Rebbeim of Chabad. The following picture impressively captures the Rebbe receiving such a gift from the hands of the President.

Every Shabbos Mevarchim Rabbi Boruch Sholom Cunin, head Shliach to California, comes in to Crown Heights to spend it in 770. Friday he was seen in Kahans together with Rabbi Grossbaum and Berel Kahan the store owner.

This afternoon workers were spotted disassembling the mural in front of the Jewish Children’s Museum on Eastern Pkwy. CrownHeights.info has learned from sources in the Museum that the mural will be going back up soon. It was removed to be cleaned and reinforced.
