After running into each other on Carroll and Kingston this morning, Dr. Eli Rosen and Rabbi Kalman Winefeld greeted each other with a warm hug and broke out in a dance to the song of ‘Bar Yochai’, clearly still in the spirit of Lag B’omer.

Have you ever been to Dagan’s Pizza before? If yes, then you surely know Mel the pizza man, and he is in Crown Heights for the day working in Kingston Pizza. Also behind the counter was Avi, the owner of Dagan’s Pizza who is now a partner in the Kingston shop as well.

Picture of the Day – Parade Organizers Plan Route
Parade organizers met with police community affairs officers and discussed the route which the parade will take this year. CrownHeights.info has learned that this year organizers will try and have the marching go through the center of Eastern Parkway, rather then just the service lane.

A group of Bechorim [first-borns] listen to a Siyum on the balcony of 770. Male first borns over the age of Bar Mitzvah (13) are obligated to fast on the 14th of Nissan, in recognition of the fact that during the “Plague of the Firstborn” (which occurred at midnight of Nissan 15) G-d “passed over” the Jewish firstborn when He killed all firstborn Egyptians.

Bochurim on Mivtziom at Hawthorne Elementary School in Beverly Hills, CA met TV talk show personality Larry King, who was picking up his grandkids. He gladly put on Teffilin and accepted the Matzah the Bochurim offered him.
