Boruch Dayan Hoemes – R. Mendel Feldman OBM

With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Mendel Feldman OBM at the age of 93. Reb Mendel was the Rov of the Kehila of Tzemach Tzedek in Baltimore and a Shliach of the Frierdiker Rebbe for over 60 years.

He is survived by his son Rabbi Pinchus Feldman Shliach in NSW, Australia.

The funeral will begin at 10:30am tomorrow (Sunday) at the Chevra Kadisha, 172 Oxford St Woollahra. After the service at the Chevra, the procession will continue to Rookwood Cemetery for the burial.

Boruch Dayan Emes – Mrs. Batya Reinitz OBM

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Batya (Basha) Reinitz of Crown Heights, early Tuesday morning. Her husband is R Yosef Zeev Reinitz.

The levaya will be today Tuesday at 5:00pm at Shomrei Hadas and passing 770 at 5:30pm, where she will then be flown to Israel for burial on Har Hazetim.

Shiva will be in the home of R’ Shmuel Chaim Reinitz in Emanuel.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Harav HaChosid Reb Tzvi Yosef Kotlarsky of Crown Heights, at the age of 92.

He is survived by his children Fraidel Hershkowitz (Crown Heights), Chanie Shemtov (Shlucha to Tucson, AZ), Moshe Kotlarsky (Crown Heights), Mendel Kotlarsky (Crown Heights), Suri Perman (Shlucha to Kingston, PA), Nechama Hershkop (Crown Heights) and Esty Wilschanski (Shlucha to Morristown, NJ).

The Levaya will be leaving from Shomrei Hadaas Chapel at 1:00pm and passing by 770 at around 2:00pm

Hashem Yikom Damam – The Murder Victims of the Terror in the Chabad House in Mumbai

Six Jewish lives were snuffed out when terrorists stormed the Chabad Jewish Center and Chabad House known as the Nariman House in India’s financial capitol, Mumbai. Terrorists stormed the building and for days held it siege, and viciously murdering everyone inside.

Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg, the beloved directors of Chabad-Lubavitch of Mumbai, were killed during one of the worst terrorist attacks to strike India in recent memory.

Jewish communities around the world reacted with shock to the loss of the couple, who were killed Thursday at their Chabad House during an apparent standoff between Indian military forces and terrorists.

Their toddler son, Moshe, managed to escape with his nanny some hours before Indian commandos stormed their building, known as the Nariman House, in the popular touristy neighborhood of Colaba. The Associated Press reported that the boy was unharmed, but was wearing blood-soaked pants.

He is survived by his wife Tzipah Rochel. Siblings; Yossi Krinsky (Crown Heights), Pinchos Krinsky (Boston, MA), Ruchi Hecht (New Haven, CT), Yehuda Krinsky (Crown Heights), Yochi Goldberg (Boston, MA) Sofie Goodman (Chicago, IL) and Evi Schusterman (Chicago, IL). Children; Herschel Krinsky (Crown Heights), Chaya Raizel Glick (Melboune, Australia), Dovid Krinsky (Sydney, Australia) Avereml Krinsky (Melbourne, Australia) and Fraidy Teitelbaum (Montreal, Canada).

The Levaya will take place on Sunday in Australia.

The burial will take place in Eretz Yisrael. The family is together at 116 S. Orange Dr. and will be there until their trip to Israel on Sunday morning.
