It is with profound pain and sorrow that we inform you of the very untimely passing of Levi Yitzchok Wolowik (9) of Cedarhurst, NY. Levi is the son of Rabbi Zalman and Chanie Wolowik who are Shluchim to the Five Towns.

The Levaya will take place on Sunday afternoon and will be leaving from the Shomrei Hadaas Chapel at 1:00pm and will be passing by 770 at around 1:30pm, the Levaya will then pass by Chabad of Five Towns, 74 Maple Ave, Cedarhurst, NY 11516 at around 2:30 then on to the New Montefiore Cemetery, 226-20 Francis Lewis Boulevard in Queens.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Shprintza Weiskohl.

She is the mother of Sarah Piekarski (Crown Heights), Miriam Zukerman (Flatbush), and Chanie Melen (Boro Park).

The Levaya will leave Tuesday from Shomrei Hadas at 11:00am.

It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rabbi David Hollander OBM, who was the longtime Rabbi and spiritual leader of the Hebrew Alliance Shul of Brighton Beach.

Rabbi Hollander kept in touch with the Rebbe and partook in many Farbrengen, during his tenure he merited to receive many Brochos and guidance’s from the Rebbe relating to public work.

A few months ago CrownHeights.info published a video of Rabbi Hollander passing before the Rebbe for Sunday dollars in Elul 1991 after the Crown Heights riots where he asked the Rebbe if he should write articles urging Jews to come visit the neighborhood, and the Rebbe responded that he should make sure it would be on the positive side, and bring a positive impact. The Levaya will take place today, Tuesday, and will be leaving from the Hebrew Alliance Shul 2915 Brighton 6th Street at 4:30pm and from there will be traveling to the airport to be buried in Israel.

Israeli tanks and troops push into Gaza, in an operation to destroy the infrastructure of Hamas. Israel has warned that the opperation can take “many long days.” Thousands of reservists are being called up, including many Lubavitchers. With extreme sadness that we report the passing of Dov Ber Holtzberg OBM, son of kedoshim, the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Bombay Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivky Holtzberg HYD, at the young age of 4 years old. Dov Ber’s passing comes just one day before his family concludes the shloshim period of mourning for his martyred parents, making this a double tragedy for the family and indeed all Anash.

He was buried Tuesday morning next to his parents and older brother, who also died of the same disease two years ago. Dov had been living in a long-term care facility in Jerusalem.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Chaim Meir Katzoff, longtime resident of Crown Heights and father of Yibadel Lechaim Tovim, R. Yossi Katzoff of Crown Heights.

The Levaya will take place Sunday and will be leaving from the Shomrei Hadas Chapel at 10:45am and will be passing by 770 at around 11:15am.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Bina Clapman of Flatbush.

She is survived by her sons Yehuda (Crown Heights) and Binyomin (Far Rockaway), and her daughter Chana Leah Chaifetz (Flatbush).

The Levaya will be leaving from Shomrei Hadaas Chapel at 11:30am.

They will be sitting shiva at 1324 E 10th St, Brooklyn, NY 11230
