Months of preparations by hundreds of volunteers are culminating in this final stretch of round-the-clock hustle and bustle as the untiring Kinus staff puts the finishing touches to what promises to be the largest International Kinus Hashluchim yet.
Representatives of the New York City Police Department, Port Authority Police Department, Joint Terrorism Task Force, New Jersey State Police and Bayonne Police Department met in Crown Heights along with members of the Vaad Hakinus to make plans for the upcoming International Kinus Hashluchim, which will bring more than 5,000 people to Crown Heights and Bayonne.
The Kinus Vaad is pleased to announce that this year’s Kinus Hashluchim grand banquet will feature multiple speakers, via video and live presentations, by Shluchim and Baalei Batim from around the world, each delivering brief remarks about the impact of the Rebbe’s Shluchim and the global Shlichus network.
48 Chabad Shluchim from 25 countries in Europe and Central Africa, all of whom serve small and isolated Jewish communities on their own, met on Sunday in the city of Girona, Spain.

Motzai Shabbos, the Shluchos enjoyed a Melava Malka and farbrengen in The Palace Ballroom in Boro Park. The theme of the evening was “Shluchos Take the Stage” and featured musical presentations and inspirational speech’s.

On Friday, the third day of the Kinus Hashluchos, the Shluchos visited the Rebbe’s Ohel and Rebbetzin’s gravesite in Queens and read a Pan Kloli on behalf of all their fellow Shluchos.
Shluchos from around the world attending annual Kinus meet up with childhood friends and classmates, catch up with siblings and relatives, and smile for the camera.
On Thursday evening, following dinner, the Rebbe’s study in 770 and home he shared with the Rebbetzin on President Street were opened for the Shluchos to visit, after which they attended a meaningful Farbrengen.
