Successful Children’s Chanukah Festival in Kensington

Chabad of Kensington organized the children’s Chanukah Festival, where over 200 children gathered for a party filled with Arts & Crafts, Gameshow, “Be A Maccabee” game, donut decorating and topped off with the lighting of a Giant Candy Menorah, made by Avi Hanookov.

Close to 1000 people took to the ice on Central Park’s Trump Wollman Rink for an evening of Jewish unity on Tuesday, December 06, the sixth night of Chanukah. Chabad’s Chanukah on Ice NYC drew people from all five boroughs and beyond, to as far away as England, South America, Israel and France.

Chicago’s Chanukah Parade and Menorah Lighting

This year’s Chicago Chanukah Parade, organized by Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois, concluded with a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the most scenic point in the Chicago. The parade consisted of Menorahs mounted on cars, vans, and a stretch Hummer, pick up trucks with Menorahs on the back, and was led by the Mitzvah Mobile and a police escort.
