With great sadness we report the sudden and untimely passing of Mrs. Penina Chava Greenstein OBM, a loved mother and long time resident of Crown Heights.. She passed away Wednesday evening, the 25th of Teves, 5780. Updated with Levaya information.

JEM: 70 Short Films For 70 Years

Marking seventy years of the Rebbe’s leadership, a milestone which begins this upcoming Yud Shvat, JEM has launched an all-encompassing, new initiative. Over the course of seventy weeks, JEM will produce seventy short films exploring different topics from throughout the Rebbe’s leadership.

Sometimes people get angry, and that’s Ok. Losing control and breaking things on the other hand, is not. This man was recorded breaking the front glass doors at a building on the corner of Carroll St and Schenectady Ave in Crown Heights. The police and Shomrim were called, but the vandal had already disappeared when they arrived.
