Window Breaking Car Thief Targets Crown Heights For Third Motzei Shabbos This Month

by CrownHeights.info

For the third Motzei Shabbos this month, a car thief targeted a car  in Crown Heights, breaking its window and rummaging through the car.

Last night’s car was parked overnight on Troy Ave near Montgomery Street, and the owner came to find that he had his side window shattered and car rummaged through.

The trend of these break-ins have created a simmering anger in the community, as the thief continues over a month long car break-in streak and continues to evade attempts to catch him.

Community members have voiced frustration at the local police precinct, saying that they appear to have little interest, and be making no attempt to catch the thief.
