  • Sruly

I find charley more important, and useful, then the fake phony politicians that bankrupted our economy

  • yechi charlie

i agree with sruly. i hope charlie can shake things up in washington, because he is REALLY the change we can believe in. GO CHARLIE!

  • unimpressed

For such a choshuve guest I would expect rabbi shemtov to put on a jacket if not dress with the matching attire.

  • Anything for a picture

What a man won’t do just to stick his face in ours. I’d like to see him shake Charlie’s hand next time he’s in NY

  • to # five-Many shluchim are like that

Many shluchim are like that especially the LOUD ones! the ones that insist on being the MC in their state or stick them selves on the radio or non jewish TV programs… all in the name of the rebbe! but when it comes to personal dealings…..

  • Levi Shemtov

happens to be a nice guy who has no problem saying hello to anyone at any time

  • A Shliach

Thanks you for this wonderful picture of Charlie and a very special shliach.
Rabbi Shemtov lives in a place where money status and power are everything, yet he never forgets to treat every person with respect and dignity
Trully a chossid of the Rebbe!

  • Cautious Admirer

I agree with #10 and would add that he never forgets why he is in Washington, to represent the Rebbe.

I became admirer slowly and cautiously because of preconceived notions that I unfairly had about him based on the regular loshon horo which people speak about employer shluchim.

  • thanbo

did he hitch all the way back or get a ride? or did he make a kvitzas haderech? on 11 July he was in DC, and on 13 July he was in Methodist with a leg infection.

refuah sheleimah to him, and to my old officemate Yerachmiel Bruchya halevi Altman (I forgot his mother’s name).
