Media Report on Attacks, Activists Demand Protection

The news of the recent spate of random attacks against Jewish residents in Crown Heights is spreading through the country like wildfire, and several media outlets have arrived in Crown Heights to report at the scene of the crimes.

In the meantime, several community leaders and activists sat down with the new Commanding Officer of the 71st Precinct, George Fitzgibbon, and his lieutenants to discuss how police will effectively put an end to these barbaric acts and ensure that men, women and children can safely walk the streets of Crown Heights without fear of attack.

    Chanina Sperlin does not represent thew Crown Heights community, period.

    In 2010 elections, the Informer Chanina Sperlin was voted (big time) out of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council, Inc. by the Crown Heights Community (despite his so called reputation for “political connections”), so why is Sperlin still pretending to represent us?
    Why are politicians and police officials still showing up at his private home?
    Mr. Sperlin does not represent the people of Crown Heights?

    What does anyone in that room (Sperlin, Cohen, Hackner and and that other guy), know about security?

    Do they patrol our streets? Do they deal with this on a daily basis? The answer in NO.

    Why aren’t those (Shomrim) who actually care and actually take action at this meeting?

    This is another photo-op meaningless irrelevant meeting.

    perhaps Chanina Sperlin, Yossi Hackner, Eli Cohen and that other guy, can post their phone numbers online so we can call them when we feel unsafe or need assistance?

      Actually, I once stopped Chanina on the street for help with a neighbor’s noise. He volunteered his cell phone number “if there were further problems.”

    The problems are thus: First, since the Martin decision, Black attacks upon Whites has increased all over the country. Second, the media will not report this because it is not politically correct. Third, the rantings of both Obama and Holder encouraged a belief that justice was denied and so thus encouraged others to get revenge by taking matters into their own hand. Fourth, until the newly elected Mayor states publically that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated–expect more of the same.
