Great video – you have a lot of talent. It’s lovely that you are using it for kedusha!

  • Friend

very special. words that enter the heart. may Almighty G-d answer this prayer speedily NOW

  • WHY????????

Why imitate the music style and accent of the low-lives who terrorize our wives and kids on the streets of Crown Heights?
There are so many more intelligent music styles to chose from:
Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Latin, Israeli, Blues, Fusion, Folk, etc.

I had my wife listen to the singing and she couldn’t believe he was not black till she saw the video….

BTW, stop smoking, and/or learn how to breathe while singing.

    • @Why????????

I don’t consider this rap. He is singing.
And to answer your question why imitate. It’s music, an artistic form of auditory communication. I don’t see a specific genre of music that is not imitated by others.

Plus, if the song and message is positive and inspirational, what is the problem here.

Do you know personally that he smokes?

    • @ #5 "WHY????????"

You are stereotyping and prejudiced and that’s Inappropriate. Just because you some people who did you wrong like a certain genre, doesn’t make that genre un-intelligent or wrong to sing. In fact, many Anti Semites and Jew haters used many other music styles as well to inspire them and to help them with their killing R”L (Nazis, Romans to name a few).

  • Chassidiste bubby

    I am weeping. Ad Mosai!
This expresses what Tisha B’Av is about so eloquently and simply.

  • Wow powerful

Amazing power! That 9 of Av message was delivered Floating like a butterfly stinging like a bee.

  • chaim grade

#5 your total ignorance of the progression of music shows your true racist roots.
the more “intelligent” Blues originated in African-American communities in the “Deep South” of the United States around the end of the 19th century from spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts and chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads.
The blues was the predecessor to jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll.. all of which morphed into rap.

Your parents found your “intelligent” music abrasive and base.

    Consider yourself “schooled “

  • To number 5...

Aren’t you full of criticism. Don’t you have anything positive to say ? Or are you always this negative.

  • moishie

why is it that we are a few short days before tisha bav which happened due to SINAS CHINAM, and ppl can only choose to say hegative comments on another yid in a public forum!
yu can write ad mosai until you are blue in the face, but moshiach WILL NOT come so long as sinas chinam is present .

  • leibi

yes! ARI strikes again… another home run! miss you for minyan at zemach zedek… hope to see you soon!

  • ATTENTION #5

Your comments explained to me in the clearest way possible why the bais Hamikdash was destroyed!!!!!
I’m not into this style music, but his singing and the words made me yearn for Sheyiboneh bais hamikdash, like nothing else ever did! And in addition to your sinas chinam, ask any black person who was around twenty odd years ago and they will tell you that THE REBBE CARED FOR ALL PEOPLE, HE DIDN’T LOOK AT COLOR, RACE OR RELIGION! This was actually said to me personally by a black man in Crown Heights.

  • malca bayzman

this young man is extremely talented – not matter what the style of music – he is sharing his faith –

kol hakoved – keep it up

to #5 – music is music – its the 9 day s- who are you to pass judgment on others

  • Words from the heart...

After a half century of playing music at a high level, I have learned to listen to the message the artist is presenting instead of the package. (Al Tistakel el Hakankan…)

He did a great job and it was very touching. He is not ready for the Metropolitan Opera, but does it really matter when he can express himself so well?

  • I like it!

Each style if music can be used for good or for the opposite

Many chasidishe songs are similar in style and genre to its contemporary non Jewish folk songs

The idea is to elevate and infuse with kdusha
