Wow! a magnificent photo. I surely remember Rabbi Mindel. What a respectable man.A man of intelligence, a man who gave his life over to the Rebbe,to the fullest. He was Zoche to be the personal secretary of the Friedike Rebbe, and the Rebbe. Besides, being Appointed , personally by the Rebbe, as head of Aguch, Merkos, and Kehos. The Rebbe had trusted him with all. All letters, answers, so many other personal matters ect…. he was truly someone very special, an ANOV, so ver humble -to say the least.
    He is surely missed.

Rabbi Mindel and Rabbi Chadakov, both worked together for the Friedike Rebbe, and then the Rebbe. Rabbi Mindel came from Russia, on the same boat as the FRiedike Rebbe, he was extremely close to the Friedike Rebbe and the Rebbe (then the Ramash), giving over his life and time for the Rebbe. Not only was he the personal secretary of the Rebbe, but close in many ways. Rabbi Mindels wife, Mrs Necha Mindel, was very close and connected to Rebbetzin Chana-the Rebbes mother, and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka. I personally know many stories and visits, that the rebbbetzin personally was connected very strongly with Mrs Mindel, how humble she was, always dignified and symbolized true royalty.

For the record – Rabbi Nissan Mindel was born on Bais Nissan – the Rebbe Rashab’s yartzeit, and the day of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s ascendency to the nessi’us. And yes, he passed away on Yud Bais Tammuz – Indeed providential his intrinsic connection with the Frierdiker Rebbe and his holy vision and work. He served both Rabbeim with great humility and competence. His devoted wife, Necha, whose yartzeit is on the 4th of Av, this week, was his talented partner in his literary work.

May their efforts on behalf of Yidden and Yiddishkeit continue to guide and inspire.

These dates , his birth and passing, are truly symbolic of who he was. May his legacy and great holy work , for the Rabbeim, continue to be an inspiration to us all.

Although I am not a family member (like all the previous posts), I still also remember him as a quite nice man

    To #6 even more amazing.
The Ferdike Rebbe needed him on his side for many years.
