Picture of the Day: Satmar Activists at 71st Precinct

In preparation for the annual Satmar grand dinner, that will take place once again this year at the Crown Heights Armory on Union St. and Bedford Ave., several activists from the Satmar community arrived at the 71st precinct to meet with the new commanding officer George Fitzgibbon and his lieutenants to help coordinate security for the event.

The dinner will take place in two weeks, on the 21st of Kislev, which is celebrated every year by Satmar Chasidim worldwide as the day R’ Yoel Teitelbaum escaped from Hungary. This year marks the 69th anniversary of the R’ Yoel’s escape from the Nazis.

The delegation was headed by Satmar police liaison Rabbi Moshe Indig, and deputy coordinator of the Williamsburg Shomrim R’ Yoel Itzkowitz.

In regards with what the Rebbe said about kinuss hashluchim, that it has to be led in Crown Heights, we see that that the organizers have failed to do: find a big enough place in Crown Heights, the Satmars succeeded!
Why banquet does not stand in Crown Heights as the will of the Rebbe?
    Lack of space? no!
The Satmars will be over 8000 the 21 Kislev !!
