Artist Carl Braude of Austria has done it again. Braude is famous in Lubavitcher circles and beyond for painting the Rebbeim together, in many different variations. Along with the Rebbeim are depicted the Rebbe's father- Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, The Razo, and Rabbi Meir Shlomo Yanovsky, the Rebbe's maternal grandfather.

A New Art Creation by Artist Carl Braude

Artist Carl Braude of Austria has done it again. Braude is famous in Lubavitcher circles and beyond for painting the Rebbeim together, in many different variations. Along with the Rebbeim are depicted the Rebbe’s father- Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, The Razo, and Rabbi Meir Shlomo Yanovsky, the Rebbe’s maternal grandfather.

In this new and innovative creation, the Rebbeim are depicted in front of 770 together with eltere Chassidim of the last generation: R’ Itche der Masmid, Rabbi C. M. E. Chodakov, R’ Yisroel Jacobson, R’ Chone Marosow, R’ Nissen Mindel, R’ Mendel Futerfas and others.

The painting was reproduced and printed on fine paper and is being sold by R’ Dani Finkelman exclusively.

    Cartoon characters
    Why have people become indifferent to seeing the Rebbe and the Rebbeim preceding him turned into cartoon characters, to be place by the cartoonists imagination in settings that are conjured up in his brain?

    Chasidim should appreciate some dignity concerning the Rebbeim.

    Very creative!! Gives the reader a great sense of Techiyas Hameisim, when people will appear at first in a similar state and similarly clothed to when they departed so that they will be recognizable to family and friends.
    However, in all of these type of paintings, some of the Rebbeim are in their later years, some in their younger; some in Shabbos outfits, some in weekday; some happy, others serious; etc. etc.
    And one thing is certain: With the coming Redemption, all the Rebbeim and Reb Mendel, Itche der Masmid, etc etc. gathered in one location – – they will not be looking away from the Rabbeim and towards…..the photographer! Unless the photographer is Moshe Rabbeinu perhaps!

    While it’s true that the chassidim shouldn’t look away from the rebbeim.
    however, how else would we be able to see the faces of everyone?
    So the composition is correct, and I would like to hang this painting in my living room?
    Is it available in Judaica stores in C.H?

    I feel its important to bring to everyone’s attention, that allegedly there is no painter by the name of Carl Braude, and that after extensive research, I tracked these so called paintings to a Satmara Chosid in London by the name of Beirish Lev, who has these “paintings” made in China with a special technique, and had a wealthy Crown Heights Gevir purchase the so called originals. This is one of many of such paintings that has been selling in the crown heights stores for the past ten years, some of them know as the “Lubavitch Dynasty” and the “Geulah March”. He has created such painting will many other Chasidisher Rebbes, and we need to stop allowing him to Con or take a advantage of the Chabad community.

    the artist can make the chassidim behind the rebbeim
    i say its a work of art but exactly that – art. why does the rebbe and all rebeim and chasidim have to become something thjat a artist draws? look – the rebbe is smiling while his father is not in the respectable place where he should be. obviously the artist does not know the heilige persons he drew.
