Photos: The President’s Motorcade on Kingston Ave.

Thousands of people lined up along the route of President Obama’s motorcade as it passed through the streets of Crown Heights. Lining Kingston Avenue were hundreds of posters calling for the president to investigate the prosecution of Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin.

Bet you Obama never “saw” the posters. to busy looking into the mirror.
But if he did see one, bet you he could not care less.

  • welcome mr president

Was he even told that he was passing through a Jewish neighborhood? That Jewish and Colored people are living in an integrated community?

    Shame on you crown heights!
Why didn’t you protest against his talking about giving Israel land to Arabs. Your protest for Rubashkin, was a selfish chabad behavior.

So it’s “selfish chabad behavior” to try to get a fellow Jew out of prison. Very nice. Should you or one of your loved ones ever (G-d forbid) be in such a situation, you’ll see things differently.

    • Selfish Chabadnik

Oh yes, we’re very selfish. A man is put in prison for 27 years for a minor offense. He has several children at home, including a special needs son, he was not allowed to attend his own daughter’s wedding, and he was the victim of a biased, crooked justice system. so yes, we chabadniks are very selfish for trying to rebuild a family. do you even hear yourself? just try, for a day, being in the nightmarish situation of this poor man and his family and THEN you can call us as selfish as you want to.

    • He knows

You can be very sure that Obama knows exactly what the placards said. He gets reports. This was a very good thing, kudos to everyone who put it all together. We don’t forget SMR & it’s important Obama doesn’t forget either.

  • wasted opportunity

he could have, as one commentator referenced, said something about our integrated neighborhood. But he really isnt into integration, he is more into colorization.
