Boston Marks Yud Tes Kislev

Uniting Boston’s Jewish community, over 20 Chabad Centers gathered Motzei Shabbes for an inspiring program in honor of Yud Tes Kislev. The evening was filled with powerful ideas of Chassidus and warm spiritual insights to the Yud Tes Kislev story and the applied lessons to our times.

The speakers of the evening were:

Rabbi Menachem Altein of Chabad of MIT, Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe of Chabad of Watertown, Rabbi Mendel Gurkov of Chabad of Stoughton, and Mr. Ira Deitsch, a member of Chabad of Lexington. The program was moderated by Rabbi Mayshe Schwartz of Chabad of Brookline.

Throughout the evening the crowd was entertained with beautiful Chassidishe Niggunim by Cantor Arye Leib Hurwitz.

The evening was an initiative of the Vaad Hashluchim of Eastern Massachusetts, and coordinated by two of the most recent new emissaries to join the family of Shluchim to Boston, Rabbi Avi Bukiet of Chabad of Arlington and Rabbi Berel Grunblatt of  International Jewish Student Center of Boston.
