Lubavitcher Soldiers Farbreng for Yud Tes Kislev

JERUSALEM [CHI] — In honor of Yud Tes Kislev a group of forty Lubavitcher Israeli Defense Force soldiers gathered in the old city of Jerusalem for a Farbrengen. Active and veteran soldiers sat together Farbrengen into the night.

The group included vets from the 1970’s, the first Lebanon war, the battle for Jenin and those currently serving in the IDF. Additionaly those who are waiting to join the IDF participated as well.

More events catering to the Chabad Soldiers are planned for the future. Currently there are believed to be close to two hundred soldiers with connections to chabad serving in the IDF.

    hey.. wait a minute but isn’t that the handy hussid.uncle sender bransome? he was in the marine corp as a captain in viet nam or was it wwII ? then in the u.n forces lebenon and finally the IDF.
    by golly he looks to be 50 but he must be over 70.

    G-d bless the Rhodes’s of Bat Ayin. You guys do so much and are such a big inspiration to a lot of young Lubavitcher’s who pass through Israel and serve in the IDF.
