RAP Students Farbreng, Pray for Fellow Fighters

The students of RAP (Rabbi Avtzon’s Program) in Jerusalem joined together to Farbreng in honor of their fellow soldiers who are currently fighting for the security of the Holy Land, many of whom are their close friends and relatives.

Earlier on Thursday, a group of students travelled to the gravesite of Rabbi Gabi and Rivka Holtzberg, HYD, to say Tehilim on behalf of Eretz Yisroel.

After they returned, they joined the other students for a Seudah in honor of Rosh Chodesh Kislev.

Gabi Kaltmann, a Shliach at RAP, began the evening with Tehilim and a plea to the Bochurim to do what they can to help the situation – especially through learning Torah and doing good deeds.

Rabbi Zalman Shimon Deren, a member of Kollel Tzemach Tzedek, related the story of Rosh Chodesh Kislev in great detail.

After the formal seudah, Rabbi Yossel Mockin of Crown Heights Farbrenged with the Bochurim until the early hours of the morning.
