Satmar Rebbe Visits Chabad Mikvah in Texas

The Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas Yoel, Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum, visited Chabad of Fort Worth, TX and its Mikvah, which is named Divrei Yoel after the Satmar Rebbe’s great-uncle and former Rebbe, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, OBM.

Most of the funds to complete the Mikvah were donated by Rabbi Aharon’s followers with his encouragement.

  • Moshiach is Coming!

When Satmar donates funds to a Chabad Mikva, which is then named after the Divrei Yoel, Moshiach is definitely on the way!

“Ma tovu oholecha yaakov mishkinosecha yisroel”
Nice to see yidden getting along and helping one another.
    Moshiach- where are you already?

  • For money I-ll sell my soul.

Does Satmar ever name any of its Mosdos after MH”M

to #4.. its a pretty one way street. They build chabad houses and mikvaos and the pomegranite shluchim center.. what do we build for them?
in all fairness we provide a heimeshe envoinrment wherever they are in the world so it all balances out..

  • Been There Done That

To #4, who is Michael Henry Mermelstein and why should they name it after him?

  • Remember Pinni Korf !!!

    Disgusting .

If they are so kosher why is the issur against their Hasgacha still in effect ???

Water under the Willy bridge. That was years ago and it was the work of oisvorfen who were in no way encouraged by any Satmar rov.

This is amazing! Wonderful to see the Ahavas Yisroel. IY”H there will be many more such occurences so that it won’t be amazing at all. Moshiach now!

  • Moshiach will come

…when a Satmer mossad is named after a Chabad Rebbe!

Notice how they are seen often giving us funds, but we NEVER ever give to them!

It’s give and take: They give – we take.

just like we have meshichistim!! they had some nut at one time.. they know how to use theit money better then lubabs

We should learn from Satmar and not hold grudges about issues that divided us 30-40 years ago

#7 awesome comment! Michael Henry Mermelstein!!! This is my new line..

As fat as the news: Thanks CH info for reporting a beautiful kiddush HaShem!

Satmar learns the same Talmud as all other Jews around the world and they say it’s forbiden to live in the land of Israel.

  • Shalom Achshov ???

    You can’t change the facts.

Most Chabad will not eat any of the CRC products. No Rav ever removed the issur. Is is just like Chalov Akum which is still ossur. Would you name a mikvah after Shach from Ponivitz for the right price !!!

#18, Lubavitch never had anything against the Divrei Yoel. Even in the worst years of our relationship with Satmar, in the late ’70s and early ’80s, I never heard a bad word spoken in Lubavitch about the Satmer Rebbe. We always blamed everything on wild thugs whom he couldn’t control; we felt sorry for him that he had such chassidim who didn’t obey him.

  • They still didn-t ask for Mechilla

    to # 19

Rabbi Dworkin didn’t think so. He gave an issur against the entire Sstmar Hashgacha which is in effect L’olom Voed. Therefor no Chabad Bais Din ever revoked the issur. We also stopped going on the Tahalocha there on Pesach

  • Shaliach

#18, I am a Shaliach and am in desperate need for a mikvak in my community, and believe me, if someone would sponsor a mikvah but wants it named after the pope, I would agree in a heartbeat!

I can’t think of ANY colleague who would turn down a million dollar donation because the donor wants the building named after Shach, a mechalel shabbos, an appikores or the pope!

    To Milhouse:
It is said that Reb Yoelish once confided, that one thing in Torah ha couldn’t manage to fulfill. “Lo yarbeh lo sussim” he said, as he waved an arm in the direction of the masses.

Is that true, Milhouse? I have a Satmar friend that claims the Rebbe had some, er, sharp words about the Divrei Yoel when asked about his kuntres “Al HaGeulah VeAl HaTemurah.”

  • To Scliach ??? # 22

    To Schliach #22.

I’m sure you would also name a mikvah after Yassar or Osama. You don’t sound like a schaliach to me. You probably don’t even wear a Moshiach flag or say Yechi.. Would you mame your child after the the pope. Maybe you would !!!

  • Saygec

The CRC issue is hardly an issue anymore. Most CRC products also have another hechsher – OK even cooperates with the CRC.

In any case, Reb Aron doesn’t eat CRC anymore either :)))! His community hechsher appears on one variety of Kesser along with the Badatz of CH.

I was reading comments to see how many morons would bring up the old machloikes. The beis hamikdash was destroyed because of old grudges and people’s inability to forgive. Time to let go of ill feelings if you want the geulah. No you are obviously happier in golus!

  • I am satmar

Its best if negetive comments be ignored .There is an obvious feeling to chabad & other previous advesaries of satmar by the current Satmar Rabbe. He has misnagdim do you people know what they think or say whenever he visits a Chabad house ,cut him some slack

Go the Mandels! I have seen first hand the hard work the Mandel family pits into their shlichus. May you continue to have much success in your shlichus!
