Car Accident on Eastern Parkway

A car full of Bochurim on their way upstate on Motzoai Shabbos got into a serious accident, but B”H there was no serious injuries. The car was headed down Eastern Pkwy. when it began raining and at the intersection of St. Johns Pl. when traffic began slowing and according to the driver the breaks locked up and the car went skidding into the rear of an SUV.

The force of the impact sent the SUV over the sidewalk and into the building across the street. B”H there was no oncoming traffic. One passenger from the Bochurims car was taken for a checkup and a passenger in the SUV was taken as well, they were all transported to Kings County Hospital with no serious injuries, B”H.

    If one generally does not speed but drives on local streets with caution as though he’s expecting someone to pop out suddenly, it would help enable the driver to stop in time. B’chlal, the bochurim drive cars in a carefree somewhat reckless manner.
    I’ve been driving for 42 years and B"H never had an accident
