Rebbe’s Lag B’omer Parade to be Broadcast on Hundreds of Websites

28 years after the fact, the historic event will be watched by hundreds of thousands on the world’s largest Jewish website, along with a network of hundreds of sites run by Chabad-Lubavitch Shluchim around the world.

The recent release by JEM, Lag B’omer, 1984, broadcast on Chabad.org, beitchabad.com and hundreds of affiliate sites run by Shluchim around the world.

The talk, delivered outdoors on a glorious day on Eastern Parkway, features the Rebbe – passionately, and in simple language geared toward children – addressing a range of themes from the story of Lag B’omer to Jewish education and Russian Jewry.

In addition to hundreds of schools and thousands of families and groups which have watched the video over the past several weeks, JEM and Chabad.org are now gearing up for an additional 100,000 expected viewers over the next few days.

The DVD re-release of the original material was sponsored by the Lapidus Family of Argentina, the Schurder Family of Boca Raton, Florida, and by a third anonymous sponsor. It includes the full unedited talks, and features the parade with all its marching bands, floats, alongside all the Rebbe’s talks that day.
