Documentary: Aliya Youth Center Profiled

The Aliya Youth center located in Crown Heights,Brooklyn. Open for nine years, the center serves as a support system, for troubled Jewish teenage boys that fall through the cracks of the Lubavitcher Hasidic Jew community.

It was founded by Rabbi Moishe Feiglin, a Australian native who move to New York 12 years ago. He’s a follower of Chabad Hasidic Judaism also known as Lubavitcher Hasidic Judaism.

    B’H for Aliya because who knows where they would be on a Thursday or Friday night otherwise

    As a parent i know first hand the exrtremely effective work they are doing with so many needy young men in our community

    WHO is out there for those love-starved jewish daughters being taken advantage of by disturbed youth schmoozers VDAL

    if we dont help them they end up multiplying their problems by degrading themselves on the streets, ending up with years of further pain & regrets R”L

    Crown Heights.info- I don’t think they should be referred to as “troubled” youth. They are Jews, they are our sons. Keep their image positive. Alot of people are troubled, it’s no one’s business to call them that.

    folks: remember the tznius crises is just a symptom of young women in desperate need of self esteem & proper help!

    we need an equivalent org to help the growing number of Girls who clearly are begging for attention! bec they are NOT getting it the right way!

    It’s great the kids are getting jobs. But these kids really have potential and should be setting their sights higher than jobs listed.

    we need more parents to ask aliya what they can do preventativly while the boys are still younger

    such as Fathers spend lots of 1 on 1 time with your sons & daughters!
