West Heampstead Chabad Celebrates 11 Years
Last week over 400 friends and supporters of Chabad of West Hempstead gathered in the magnificent Garden City Hotel on Long Island, paying tribute to and honoring their amazing success in their 11 years of dedicated service.
The nights honorees included Mr. Kevin Cummings, the dinner chairman and President and CEO of Investors Bank. Marc and Sharon Katz, who were the evenings Guests of Honor. Nassau County Legislator the honorable Vincent T. Muscarella, as well as to corporate honorees Investors Bank and I&D Glatt.
The evening began with a cocktail in which guests enjoyed drinks and mingled after which the grand ballroom was opened. A sumptuous buffet dinner, including beef and poultry prepared and presented in all sorts of creative ways.
Following dinner the crowd enjoyed the hilarious comedy of Modi [Rosenfeld], a Chabad supporter and regular at Chabad functions who performed at Chabad of West Hempstead’s first dinner four years ago and commented on how much it has grown since.
Chabad of West Hempstead is directed by Rabbi Yossi and Chaya Lieberman.
