Road Closures Sunday For Annual Half Marathon

In support of the New York Road Runners United Airlines Half Marathon, there will be multiple rolling street closures in Brooklyn and Manhattan on Sunday, March 16th from 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM. 

Road closures will start at 5:30 AM

– Along Flatbush Avenue from Grand Army Plaza to Tillary Street , and on the Brooklyn Bridge until 1:00 PM.

– There will also be closures on the FDR Drive from the Brooklyn Bridge to 42nd Street.

– The closures continue down 42nd Street between 1st Avenue and 7th Avenue, then along 7th Avenue from 42nd Street to 59th Street,

– Then along Central Park South to Grand Army Plaza.

These closures will be from 4:30 AM until 2:00 PM. 

Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow for additional travel time.
