As the wind blew through Crown Heights last night, the FDNY were there protecting the Shchunah’s residents. As a safety precaution, they tore down the outdoor seating area erected outside Basil. From the photo, we are sure you can see why.
It's about time
They have 2 large shacks in addition to their long time outdoor seating which sit ugly, empty, waste parking space and obstruct pedestrians.

The structure was blown into the street by the wind, and was falling apart.
After that is when the FDNY were called in to break it down.
They left the other structure around the corner so obviously it has nothing to do with the fact that they were a caution to begin with
