Rabbi Mindel was the personal secretary of the friediker Rebbe. starting, back in Russia. He came to America with the Friedike Rebbe, and continued on here in America, as well, being the personal secretary for the Rebbe, all these years. The picture was taken in the Mazkirus office,in 770, where he worked, while spending hours together with the Rebbe almost daily,in the Rebbes room, taking notes on all the letters the Rebbe had directed him to write and translate, including all the books and translations which the Rebbe asked him to write.
The FIRST translation of the Tanya, was written by Rabbi Mindel, by the request of the Rebbe, amongst many many other works B”H..
Rabbi Mindel was a wise and humble man, which the Rebbe put all his trust in.
