Picture of the Day: Elevating Sparks in Switzerland

Mendy and Yossi Rotenstreich, junior Shluchim in Gramercy Park, Manhattan, Daven Shachris Wednesday morning at Zurich International Airport en route to commemorate the 200th Yahrtzeit of the Alter Rebbe in Ukraine.

They are part of a group of Chasidim led by Rabbi Y.Y. Jacobson, organized by Gershon Chaimson, that will be visiting the gravesites of the Baal Shem Tov (in Mezhibuzh), the Maggid and Reb Zushe (in Hanipoli) and Reb Levi Yitzchok (in Berdichev); then make their way to Hadiach to spend Shabbos near the Ohel of the Alter Rebbe.

The trip will conclude with a visit to the gravesite of the Mitteler Rebbe (in Niezhin) early Sunday morning, and will return to New York Sunday evening.
