Picture of the Day: Macy’s Thanksgivukah Parade

A gigantic Dreidel float debuted at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan this morning, celebrating the once-in-a-lifetime alignment of Chanukah and Thanksgiving this year.

    ‘Thanksgivukah.’ A threshold adjustment.

    At some point we’ll reach a bottom. A point at which some absurd phrase will just die without gathering steam. Too absurd for repetition. Maybe it happens all the time and only the rejects make it to us. Those terms just above the absurdity threshold.

    Would have thought ‘farby’ beneath that threshold. But lo! the threshold was yet lower.

    You mean there was actually a reason to view at least a portion of the parade? was this part actually televised or do we have just the picture because of the typical anti Religious Obama media etc.
