Boruch Dayan Hoemes – Efrayim (Freddy) Hager OBM
With great sadness we inform you of the sudden passing of Mr. Efrayim Shaltiel (Freddy) Hager of London, UK.
Known as a visionary businessman and community leader, R’ Efroyim was the WFDB Deputy Treasurer General and the President of the London Diamond Bourse. He a founder member of the World Diamond Council and is considered the spiritual father of the federation’s better business symbol, the WFDB Mark.
R’ Efroyim and his wife Louise are residents of Golders Green, London, where Reb Efroyim was the dedicated gabbai of Kingsley Way Beth Hamedrash for many years.
The couple are known for their personal friendship with the Rebbetzin since the 1960s.
He is survived by his wife, four children, and grandchildren.
