Parnasa,Nachas, and everything Wonderful life has to offer.

  • Mazel Tov, but...........

I think it is wonderful they love him so much and mazel tov on his birthday, but why "posters and leaflets?" That’s this neighborhood needs is more litter, which is what the good intentioned happy birthday leaflets and posters will turn into 15 minutes after they are distributed. PLEASE don’t put that junk all over our community. Spend the money and effort it took you to make them and honor this fine person in some other way.

  • The Original Avremi G-s Biggest Fan!

Dear Avremi G (the original one!), you are a true mentch not to get upset that someone used your logo on this website, maybe without permission. It is great that you see it as a wonderful form of praise and recognition of you! *Everyone!* knows who "Avremy G" the musician is!…so that is what makes the birthday wish so cute. Avremi, only good things for you and your family!!!

    A big fan!

  • good

by the way that is good to hear. no one was faulting you. this whole thing is a wonderful tribute to the RabbiG and AvremiG. keep up the great work.

  • GREAT IDEA! Australia

    ATTENTION "MAZAL TOV….BUT"
Just because there alwasys has to be someone to ‘ruin the moment’, doesn’t mean it has to be you or anyone else for that matter. If you’re feeling constipated, go to the bathroom.
    p.s. Have a great day!

it is against the law to put fliers on all the cars, thank G-d there was none on my car, though, happy birthday and good to see avremi G’s logo – my favorite musician!

    Public Thanks!

I would like to Thank "Sruly" for all his hard work, including making the copies, and going all over CH putting them on the cars, and by Rabbi Gerlitzkys house. and for raising all the funds to cover the food, mashke, cake, and entertainment: Yenkel Miller. and of course not without the help of z. Wilhelm. and thank you Rabbi Yenkel Miller, for putting on such a nice performance. and to Meir Krinsky for his contribution. may we merit to share many more HAPPY birthdays of rabbi gerlitzky, with Moshiach Tzidkeinu, In Yerushalaim, Amen.

  • I agree

I agree that while this was a wonderful occasion for a wonderful Rabbi, I also think that all the flyers just end up in the mud and posters fall down. Would’t it have been wonderful to use that time and effort (that was put into all that disposable paper) into starting a tzedakah in Rabbi G’s name- or giving to an already established one. I think all the flyer foolishness is more for the students’ fun, then to honor a fine person on his birthday. Not to mention the horrible mess it makes all over place. Maybe next time.
