Election Results Show Brian Cunningham Winning the Democratic Primary For The 43rd Assembly District

by CrownHeights.info

Just a short time after the voting booths closed, results have already begun filtering in, showing a clear win for Brian Cunningham despite Aron Gluck pulling a strong turnout.

As of 9:55pm, with most votes already tallied, Crown Heights resident Aron Gluck had pulled in 2206 votes, with Brian Cunningham sweeping the Primary election with 9652 votes. These numbers will climb as the last few votes are tallied.

Cunningham, the incumbent Assemblyman, is expected to return to Albany after winning the Democratic nomination. In NYC, Democratic Primary winners are almost always winners in the general election.

If the people running keep telling us “we have a chance to win” “people don’t really turn out for small elections anyways” and then get defeated by such a massive margin, why should I ever believe anything they say in the future? For the record/ never believe politicians (or people running to be politicians:)

Thanks to Ahron Gluck for standing up for the community, giving the community a voice on local issues ( VItal Brooklyn, Bike lanes, Kingsbrook Shul), and inspiring others to fight for Shchuna.

How many Jews didn’t vote because they were told by ____ that Ahron had no chance?

In the future, political matching funds(8X) to pay for outreach to the non-Jewish voters will help make further gains.
