Man Shot In Crown Heights Friday Night

A man was found shot in Crown Heights just minutes after midnight Friday night and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the information available, police were called to Empire Blvd and Brooklyn Ave around 12:20am Shabbos morning where they found a man outside a building screaming in pain from a gunshot wound.

EMS was called and transported him to a local hospital.

Local residents had not reported hearing any gunshots, and the NYPD’s shot spotter technology had not detected any shots in the area, leading people to believe that the victim had been shot elsewhere and made his way into the area.
