Chaos In 770 As Rabbi Braun Cancels Mincha Leining Over Extremist Actions

by CrownHeights.info

Chaos reined in 770 during Mincha Shabbos afternoon after extremist actions prompted Rabbi Braun to cancel Mincha and lock the Aron Kodesh.

Reports from 770 tell of the chaos as pushing and shoving began at the main Minyan Shabbos afternoon during the singing of Yechi before Krias Hatorah. Rabbi Braun, who has been outspoken in the past over extremist actions, put a halt to the Minyan, and refused to allow Krias Hatorah to begin.

The scene went wild, with reports if Sefarim thrown and the main Aron Kodesh locked by the Shul management.

The main Minyan Mincha was subsequently canceled.

Thus begins the chaotic month of Tishrei in 770, which has been stained with extremist actions and violence year after year.

Yet, it is hardly the beginning.

In an unreported incident from earlier in the week, one of the shul’s managers was assaulted and burned in a targeted attack. He was treated in a local hospital and released home.

Hope for a controlled and violence free Tishrei was high this year, following multi-year reforms that saw perpetrators of violence, drug addicts, and instigators facing legal blowback and police enforcement. Ultimately, it is up to the community itself to step up and ensure that those who perpetrate violence are held accountable for their actions.

you cant be labeling this as a mishechist problem. this is a small group of unstable people that don’t have their priorities straight. not a group of mishechistim that actually care about the rebbe MH”M shlit”a. this goes to show that not all so to speak “mishechistim” are so real. BUT A LOT ARE!

With all due respect. This is absolutely a mishischist problem. Where and when was the seed to the monstrosity planted ?
You made the cake now eat it.

For decades your kind encouraged, justified and excused these violent actions, now you’re trying to disown them? Why, because you lost control?

By the way…..what are the “REAL mishischistim” going to do about this violence that’s happening right in front of the Rebbe Meleach HaMoshiach?
Are you just gonna stand by with your hands folded? Aren’t you going to honor the kovod of the MH”M?

      Here’s your chance.
This is the time for “mainstream meshichistim” to completely denounce this behavior. Otherwise, they’re part of the problem.

We need excessive ahavas yisroel yet be firm to keep peace amongst our own. Know what coming. There’s looming change in NYC, it’s called Mamdani and progressive: translated as make NYC affordable by very high crime, encouraging people to flee NY, glut of houses for sale, lowering real estate prices drastically. But let there at least be peace amongst us! And a very good and sweet new year!

This isn’t what happened. The gaboim got upset that some random Israeli bochur decided to say Yechi by psicha, so they locked the Aron Kodesh until he left shul (the same happened by shachris and he left a few minutes later with no incident). So another Sefer Torah was brought and kria was made in the front and the minyan proceeded. The violence only began later when the minyan reached Pirkei Avos

At that point, the gaboim decided to continue with kria (even though the bochur hadn’t left) because they need the money from the bar mitzvos after all… so things got violent as their representatives came to open the aron kodesh and continue the minyan, but minutes later all was calm again and both minyanim concluded. (I didn’t see Rabbi Braun anywhere, but I was davening so may have missed him.)

Blame all the problems on the crazy messianic cult. Rip down the yechi sign and regain control of 770. A real disgrace !
