1 Million Euro Fundraised for Paris Schools

Close to 2,000 people gathered in Paris last night for an evening of salute and support for the Beis Lubavitch Educational Institute, under the leadership of Rabbi Mendel Azimov.

Highlights of the event were a performance by Jewish singing star Benny Friedman, as well as a lecture by renowned author and thinker Rabbi Adin Even-Yisroel (Steinsaltz), who is the brother-in-law of the late head Shliach to Paris, Rabbi Shmuel (Muleh) Azimov, OBM.

Through generous contributions from attendees, over 1 million Euros were pledged on behalf of the institution. Whoever pledged 2,600 Euro or more received a beautiful painting by the renowned artist Michoel Muchnik.
