California Shliach Returns to Moscow After 25 Years
In honor of Yud Shvat, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Cohen, Shliach to Sacramento, CA, was invited to Moscow to Farbreng with the community.
The invitation was especially meaningful to Rabbi Cohen and the older members of the community, who remembered how he served as a Shliach in the Russian capital 25 years earlier, just as the USSR was nearing its collapse.
Rabbi Cohen led many Farbrengens while in the city, and was a source of tremendous Chizuk and inspiration to all members of the community, which has grown tremendously since he was last there.
