Students Awarded for Compositions on Rebbe’s Sichos

A new initiative was launched earlier this year at Oholei Torah Mesivta, in which the Bochurim set out to complete an entire volume of Likutei Sichos and write a synopsis of each Sicha.

Following the success of Sefer Bereishis, many more bochurim joined the program for Sefer Shemos.

The participating bochurim learned the entire chelek vov of Likutei Sichos, corresponding to sefer shemos, and wrote a synopsis on each Sicha.

As they made their siyum, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schapiro, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Miami, tested the bochurim and was astounded by their deep understanding and the sheer volume of sichos they had learned.

After testing them, Rabbi Schapiro readily agreed to farbreng with them as they traveled to the Ohel.

Rabbi Zushe Wilhelm, dean, congratulated the bochurim and encouraged even more bochurim to join the program as they begin the 3rd sefer, Likutei Sichos chelek zain.

The bochurim who participated were: Tzvi Hirsch Morozow, Levi Parness, Mendel Fayershteyn, Menachem M. Sorkin, Yeshaya Rotenberg, Menachem Malka, Shmuel Gurary, Levi Mintz, Dovid Geisinsky, Tzvi Cohen, Menachem M. Baron, Menchem M. Lepkivker and Menachem M. Nemanov.
