Taking Krefeld by Storm

Yeshiva Gedola Chabad Berlin Farbreng in Honor of Yud Shvat in Krefeld, Germany.

Thanks to the Yeshiva Gedolah Chabad Berlin, the Jewish Community of Krefeld, Germany experienced an unforgettable Shabbaton and an inspiring Yud Shvat farbrengen.

Rosh HaYeshiva HaRav Uri Gamson, Rabbi Avraham Golavochov and Krefeld Community Rabbi Yitzhak Mendel Wagner as well as 10 yeshiva bochurim gave shiurim throughout Shabbos Beshalach, which were well received by Krefeld Community members.

Rabbi Golavochov gave one shiur on the parasha and one on “Jewish Mysticism.” Rav Gamson inspired the community with Chassidus shiurim and a discourse on Jewish psychology.

On Motzei Shabbos, Rav Mendel Schtrocks, the Rebbe’s shaliach in Cologne, arrived with a few Yidden to farbreng in honor of Yud Shvat.

The local newspapers reported about the event.

A kiddush Hashem and a kiddush Lubavitch.

The Krefeld community was delighted and is looking forwarded to reciprocating the visit in Berlin.
