As tempting as it might be to take a hat off of someones head and toss it, its legally inadvisable. Yet in Montreal, it happened earlier on this month, and was caught on surveillance camera.

The perpetrator was found and the shtreimel was recovered. The perpetrator had gotten out of the truck snatched the shtreimel and got back in the truck. Surveillance video had gotten the license of the truck so police were able to track down the perp. The victim was visiting from new York so police waiting to see if he comes back to press charges

this is getting totally out of hand and we are essentially helpless.
What we need to do is start carrying the smallest
WD-40 sprays and when we are confronted we spray in their faces and teach them that it hurts a little more than hair spray.
I think all our kids should walk around with these spray cans – once they find out we are not such easy prey they might start working for a living..
It’s the audacity that is so disturbing.
