Video: Children of Abraham

Two brothers dress up, one as a Chasidic Jew and the other as a traditional Arab, and side by side they walk through Jewish, Muslim and diverse neighborhoods in Brooklyn to gauge the public’s reaction.

What is the point of this cheap patronizing trick?
Amolek was unfortunately also a “child” of Abraham.

I c they walked down the streets of BP (Boro Park) together, that’s Gr8 !! What I think would be even better is, they should walk down the main Avenues of Williamsburg, Lee & Bedford, together, that would be really really cool, as well as Kiryas Yoel. I would love 2 c & hear what the satmar community has 2 say about it, especially being that they hold the only real reason y the Arab Muslims hate Jews, is bec of Zionisim & the Isreali Zionists. Is there a way 2 email them ?

The Netura Karta nut jobs are often seen with radical arabs, so what is the big deal in Williamsburg for Satmar to see a “chosid” with an “arab”??

In Boropark the cops were called because the “chassid” looks really fake, as if disguised – and THAT is a concern! (A fake chossid with an arab guiding him can only lead to no good).

so true ,, i did not think that the jewish guy looked so fake .
      smart thinking

I have always thought that these caricatures of Chassidic Jews are anti- Semitic. Why is the “Jew” dressed like shlump with tzitsiz down to his knees? And those fake payes? The shaved beard? He looks like a Nazi propaganda piece.

I think that 90% of the people were staring because the “Jew” was obviously wearing fake, and then they were wondering whether they needed to call the police over a potential terrorist dressed as a Jew leading a potential suicide bomber around. It’s happened before.

This stunt should not be celebrated is not some sort of high-minded critic of society; I hope someone was vigilant enough to call the police.

Your comment is extremely annoying and difficult to read with your writing skills. Dunno, maybe I’m just old school

  • Cute but the fake looks concerning

Cute video, but that guy is obviously fake, hence all the stares etc… If I walked past them I’d be concerned with a guy DRESSED UP (bad job) as a Jew and a Muslim walking together…. It would make me concerned.

Just 2 let u know, it’s called short hand writing as well as abbreviating as much as possible, so yes ppl do write short hand. Y is why, 2 is to, c WB is Williamsburg, BP is Boro Park see etc etc

Frum Jewish new york is pretty big on staring at people that buck convention (not a good thing, but I don’t see this obnoxious behavior changing). Not sure what the purpose of this stunt was, however. If they’re two brothers then it’s totally fake.

Also, any way you slice it Islam–the way it’s practiced at least by a large number of people– has a huge problem with terror and violence, with a heavy dose of antisemitism on top. I’m not sure there is much of a point in preaching to Jews if there is no evidence that these issues in the muslim community are being actively (and successfully) dealt with.
