Video: Why Do They Riot?
Many people are shaking their heads at the destruction in Baltimore and wondering how anyone could burn and loot their own community. PIX11 News spoke to Richard Green, an activist in the Crown Heights African-American community, about what he believes leads protesters to stage violent riots.

you cannot put the Crown Heights riots in the same category as all the other ones.
all the other riots (while wrong), had a anti establishment/police component to it, but the riots here, were based solely on anti semitism, and the only build up rage that caused the riots, was the build up hatred against the Jews.
we should speak up about this, so history will not be distorted!
Richard Green - Chossid
One day, Professor Richard Green announced to his college class on Urban Studies, “today we will study the thought of the Lubavitcher Rebbe”. Two Lubavitchers in the course almost fell off their chairs. But he went on, expounding on the moral high line which the Rebbe takes, a variation of “l’chatchiloh ariber”. He elaborated on many issues and the way in which the Rebbe viewed them.
He also went for dollars a few times and exchanged very meaningful words with the Rebbe. There are videos of this.
He worked diligently to stem violence during the riots and runs a school and youth center which has helped many get off the streets and pursue education. I would term Richard a Chossid of the nations of the world.
