    • Be careful!!

You need to consult a licensed medical professional before doing anything she recommends. She is not a licensed medical professional and you are not her patient. What she is advising to the “general public” could potentially be very harmful without professional medical oversight.

    • No thanks

I wouldn’t take an ounce of her advice, not even with a real doctor’s permission.

One of the big manufacters of these herbs is out in the South West called Vitality works at 8500 Bluewater, Albuquerque NM. They are under strict rabbinical supervision and have been for years. They make products for Maxi Health and Zahlers as well as other companies such as Sprouts, Vitamin Shoppe etc. They have not only kosher certification but GNF which certifies the purity of product.

  • Consult a doctor first!

Alternative medicine has been around for a long time and can work, but you should NOT decide what may be beneficial for you on your own. Just because you don’t need a prescription it does NOT mean that is safe for YOU. Consult a doctor, she/he will tell what YOU can take, interactions, etc. Please!

  • where to find herbs:

Sunshine pharmacy has a bunch, park slope food coop, whole foods

  • Everything alternative is good

Doctors don’t know beans. They only spend years in medical school and residency studying narishkeiten.

Herbalists, homeopaths and naturopaths are the real experts. Trust them only with your health! They know everything! They have deep insight and they know so much they don’t even need to do research! They don’t even need to know basic biology! Their gut instincts work just fine for them and they’ll work for you! They don’t need studies! They don’t need evidence! You can take their word for it — this stuff really works.

I like the herbs from Herbalist and Alchemist. They recently received Kosher Certification. So happy because they are wonderful products.
