a niggun as a niggun you can’t change it!I think it would be impressive if he sang it the right way…

yes, nothing will come close to the way the rebbe sang it, however shweky sings it nicely as well – perhaps not as nice as the rebbe, but nice none-the-less. lets not forget he is an entertainer, not a chassidishe nigunim teacher. and just the fact that someone coming from his backgroung is singing a chabad song and with the “gefil” that he does have, is amazing in itself. lets not forget that a century ago people from other sects would have been “singing a different tune”.
lets look at the positive side – there is more ahavas yisroel and achdus yisroel today between chabad and other communities than ever before – we should actually learn by example and do the same internally – perhaps if we did. moshiach would come
