  • curious?

Why are the women being so pushy? The Rebbe was clearly interested in speaking with Ms. Brown.

I was Fays neighbor for 3 years. She is such a sweet women. We used to stop and talk in the hallway. She is a very private women but shared a few things. She was the Rebbetzins nurse and became really close. The Rebbetzin gave her a vase as well as a basket. She once exclaimed how disappointed the Rebbetzin would be in the way the women dress on Kingston Ave! Faye told me the Rebbe gave her a blessing to live a long life.

I’m annoyed that the women were so eager to end the Rebbe’s encounter with Mrs. Brown. The Rebbe gave her so much sensitivity, I wish the woman followed the Rebbe’s example.

  • THANK YOU for all your work.

When you looked at him he was so humble and never took credit for what he did.
Sometimes on Shabbos he came to our house to talk to my husband, and when he told us how he survived the war, and how, he wrote the letter to the Rebbe Rayats, a young boy he was.
He told us how the Frierdiker Rebbe made sure he should have Tefilin and Sidurim.
He was a tall in stature, but he was tall in Middos and Chesed that surpassed everything.
His wife Zissel was also a lady of valeur full with concern about everyone and love for her fellow Jew.

I once took Faye to the Ohel. It was one of the most extraordinary experiences I have had there. Many people have asked me to get her to appear on JEM, but as the sentiment is shown above, she is a very private woman.
