charlie
the rabbi brought a challah because there wasn’t enough to cut
Mohel
LOL either he meant a chalaf or they had to have bread so there would be a seuda.
Hey Rabbi
Refuah Shelimah! A pintele yid, always bringing a smiles to simchas!
a fan of his joy
Refuah Shleimah!
Shimon
Why didn’t you ask how he came to CH and Lubavitch?
Unimpressed
This is cruel, and pointless. It just sounds like you’re digging into his past to verify some of the circulating rumors about Charlie. Clearly, he isn’t interested in speaking about it. Secondly, if he in fact does have mental health issues, which is highly likely, recording and publishing this video is manipulative and somewhat immoral.
Did they know you planned to publish this online?
dont undertand!
dont undertand! you had a wonderful chance to ask him how he came to chabad and crown heights! but instead you asked him how the frikin chulent was in his old place!! this man is a speacial person! he even brought great joy to the rebbe’s face when the rebbe saw him.
please this is embarrassing!!
i love charlie!

confused
im confused!!! he seems like hes just a mentally ill ederly man. why do people make him out to be some amazing person – like a tzaddik?

It would be interesting to hear about his encounters with the Rebbe and how he came to Lubavitch. It is said that the Rebbe always gestured to Charlie, and always with an immense smile.
In the video, he when he said his mohel came up to Nebraska with a “chalah,” I think he meant a “cheleph.” Or whoever passed it on to charlie probably meant that. After all, a bris is performed with a chaleph, not a chalah.
BTW they say his prophecies included 9/11.
I heard a story about a women who had a baby on a Friday night, when it was late, and the family made a sholem zocher right then and there so no word had gotten out and not a sole outside the home knew about the sholem zocher. Nevertheless, at 2 am there was a knock on the door. It was Charlie. How did he know there was a sholem zocher?
good to know
haven’t seen charlie at a few recent simchas.
good to know he’s OK
Is he out of hospital yet?
